What is a Tool Share?

Welcome to Manzanita Tool Share - a mobile tool lending library!

Manzanita Tool Share is a collection of tools and equipment that can be used for individual and group projects in home repair, woodworking, landscaping, bicycle repair, arts and crafts, sewing, and the culinary arts.

Based on a community membership model, individuals, local employers, or voluntary civic organizations join the tool share to access the collection and programming as a shared community resource or 'perk' of employment.

Individuals

Come join Manzanita Tool Share!

Individuals review and sign a membership agreement. Once a member, reserve tools online and then pick-up or drop-off at one of our regular weekly pop-up sites.

Annual dues and rental fees are waived for the 2024 calendar year!

Groups

The Manzanita Tool Share inventory is also available to voluntary civic groups and community organizations who would like to use equipment and tools for community service projects.

Individuals

If you are an essential or returning worker commuting by car to work,

let us know what origin & destination would make a difference for you.

Would having access to a pedal bike or e-bike make your commute easier?

If your employer is part of our transit co-op, your rental may be partially or fully subsidized!
