What is a Tool Share?

Welcome to Essential Tools™ - a mobile tool lending library!


Essential Tools™ is a collection of tools and equipment that can be used for individual and group projects in home repair, woodworking, landscaping, bicycle repair, arts and crafts, sewing, the culinary arts and more.


Our tool share is based on a community membership model, individuals or voluntary civic organizations join the tool share to access the collection and programming as a shared community resource.

Is there equipment that you need on occasion but don't want to have to acquire, store, or maintain?

Individuals

Come join Essential Tools™! 

Individuals review and sign a membership agreement. 
Once a member, reserve tools online and then pick-up or drop-off at weekly pop-up sites.

Suggested annual dues and rental fees are waived for the 2025 calendar year!
