We are honored to partner with Caltrain as a community based organization. The Pass Forward Program seeks to diversify ridership and increase access to the Caltrain system by having GoPasses that are purchased by private employers donated and redistributed to the commuters for whom cost prevents them from riding public transportation.

The program helps traditionally under-represented groups, such as equity priority communities and essential workers to bypass barriers to the Caltrain system. Recipients of the Go Passes are able to ride the Caltrain at no personal cost over the course of the calendar year. In addition, Manzanita Works is proud to be a Caltrain Regional Partner, working closely with other local organizations in the program to support their staff capacity to engage on commuter benefits like these.

Building off of our community outreach during shelter-in-place, we are working to mainstream biking as a commute mode with a variety of resources including increased access to bike repair services, refurbished pedal bikes, and our e-bike loaner program for essential and returning workers.

Folding e-bikes are now available for essential workers to borrow for free on a monthly basis!
