ESSENTIAL WHEELS™

Bike options for frontline and returning workers

Essential Wheels™ is a transformative program that provides access to e-bikes and pedal bikes for frontline and returning workers. The Essential Wheels™ bike loaner program enables qualified participants to try a bike for free for up to one year, helping those who might not otherwise have the funds or bandwidth to explore possible benefits of this alternative way to commute.

Essential workers who are at least 18 years of age; serve the community in the following sectors: healthcare, public education, family care (including childcare, preschool and eldercare), food & grocery service, and as first responders; and whose income does not exceed 80% of the median family income for the area as adjusted for family size; can request to be added to our interest list.
