The Manzanita Coalition has a structure that both deepens relationships within the organizations as well as cultivates relationships within the community and subregion. We synthesize local knowledge from our local leaders to create and deliver holistic, lasting solutions to some of the greatest challenges workers in the Bay Area face. Our work seeks to collaborate in partnership with our elected leaders and ultimately strengthen our public institutions while celebrating the ingenuity, flexibility and resources of the private sector.
We welcome the participation of voluntary civic organizations at all levels of development: local faith-based organizations, labor associations, neighborhood groups, parent-teacher associations and non-profits with voting members. If you are an individual and don’t belong to a voluntary civic organization, we can work with you to identify or establish one or welcome you as an unaffiliated volunteer.
We are independent and unaffiliated with any national organizing network yet welcome partnership and collaboration on our shared interests.
