Ratna Amin

Ratna Amin is a process consultant and urban planner dedicated to advancing civic leadership and community stewardship. She is the founder and president of Infragarden, a consultancy that partners with leadership teams in public infrastructure and service organizations to help launch transformative initiatives. 

Ratna has recently served as an advisor to executive teams at agencies including the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), BART, the City of Oakland, Caltrain, and Deutsche Bahn Engineering and Consulting. Previously, she was the Transportation Policy Director at the San Francisco Bay Area Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR). In 2022, she was appointed Board Chair of the TransitCenter Foundation and has also chaired the Oakland Fund for Public Innovation. She hosts Infrastructure Momentum Makers, a podcast presented by Ansarada, featuring conversations with changemakers in the public infrastructure space.
